One of the few times I get to "talk" about me and
not feel self-centered.

Raised in Brooklyn, New York by immigrant parents,
I often found myself as the interpretive conduit between my parents and broader American society.

My abilities as a cultural interpreter served me well professionally and were further honed as I worked
in advertising, marketing and publishing.

In many ways graphic design, too, is about interpretation. Finding a visual language and style that can effectively bridge the gap between the desires of the client and the dictates of the chosen medium is not only a great challenge, but a unique opportunity to help shape our visual world.
